At First Church we strive to create a place where each child feels loved and learns about God’s great love for them. We care about your children; we look forward to learning and worshiping with them through our Children’s Ministry Opportunities.

First Church Kids : K - 5th grade

First Church Kids meets at two different times for ages 4 - 5th grade.
While both classes use Live B.I.G., each class is uniquely different in activities.

9:30 ~ 10:30 a.m.

During our contemporary Celebration service

11:00 a.m. ~ 12:00 p.m.

During our traditional service in the Sanctuary

Our Children’s Ministry uses the Live B.I.G. curriculum ilivebig.com.
Each Sunday children ages K - 5th grade learn about God’s love through games, music, crafts, and Scripture.
Please sign in your child/children in the Fellowship Hall before the 9:30 a.m. Celebration service or in the Narthex before the 11:00 a.m. service. Each family worships together before their teachers escort them to First Church Kids.

Sign In Procedure

Your child/ren's safety is our first priority! All children are signed in by their parents at the kid's sign-in table in the Fellowship Hall before the 9:30 service, and in the Narthex at the 11:00 service. A previously desginated adult signs out each child before picking him or her up from the classroom.

AFTER-SCHOOLPROGRAM

Arise Arts Academy

Our after-school program where students

Participate in drama, dance, and music classes, and enjoy a healthy snack  Each season they will perform in holiday concert and play. Arise Arts Academy is every Wednesday during the school year from 4 - 6 p.m. with two sessions per year. Session 1 starts in September and Session 2 in January.

SUMMER ACTIVITIES

Vacation Bible School (VBS)

For one week in the summer, our Family Life Center is turned into everything from a dude ranch to a campsite where kids learn about God’s love through arts and crafts, games, snacks, music, and storytelling. VBS is for children ages 3 through 5th grade.

Nursery Infants ~ Age 3

An open, loving environment for your little ones.
9:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m

The nursery is open before each service for drop-off.
Please pick up a pager as you sign in your children so we can best serve you during the worship service.
