Counseling

Rev. John Tuff has been a pastor for over 20 years and also brings 14 years of concentrated work in individual and family counseling.  John brings a strong commitment to Christian-based counseling with a focus on spiritual development.  His extensive experience in family and individual counseling emphasizes the love and compassion of Christ as well as the important role the church plays in providing encouragement and resources. 

Rev. Tuff will be making appointments for Thursdays each week with counseling sessions taking place in Room 103 of the Family Life Center.  Rev. Tuff  has established a modest, sliding-scale fee schedule based on household income.   This fee schedule is similar to an insurance copay.  Appointments may be made by contacting the church office at 955-0935 to request Rev. Rev. Tuff has been prayerfully exploring opportunities to use his gifts and experience in counseling and teaching in Sarasota.  In addition to his counseling presence, Rev. Tuff will present seminars and share in periodic teaching opportunities.  John has authored two books, The Magic of God’s Love and A Horse and His Christian.
