What to Expect

SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICES

Traditional Service in the Chapel - 8:30 a.m.

Come experience this warm, friendly worship service which begins with a hymn sing accompanied by piano.
The smaller setting of the chapel creates more intimate worship.  The service lasts just under an hour.

Contemporary Service in the Sanctuary - 9:45 a.m.

You are invited to join worshipers as they sing to the Lord with our top-notch Celebration Praise Band.
More informal than the other services, this worship celebration of about 50 minutes will lift your spirit.

Traditional Service in the Sanctuary - 11 a.m.

This more formal service features superb music with organ, piano, and choir.
Professional and gifted musicians enhance the experience of worship which typically lasts an hour.
Creativity, relevance, and meaning are hallmarks of this service.

Children

Children are welcome to attend the services.  If you prefer, a nursery is provided for infants through age two from 9:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
Capable and dedicated teachers engage preschool and elementary-age students in Sunday School classes during the 9:45 and 11:00 a.m. services.

Sermons

The pastor delivers sermons (normally about 15-20 minutes) that are relevant and Biblically based - with a good dose of humor.

(More or less, the same sermon will be given at all three services.)

What should I wear?

There is no dress code.  Casual dress is most acceptable at all services.  Dress as you feel comfortable.
Men wearing shorts can be seen regularly at the first two services and occasionally at the third,
with some wearing suits, especially in the winter.

Can I take drinks into the worship service?

Yes.  Drinks are allowed in the chapel and sanctuary.  Make yourself at home.  Coffee, water, and juice are provided in the lobby.

Where do I park?

There is plenty of free parking available.  Complimentary valet service is provided at the Mira Mar Court entrance.

The five-story Mira Mar Parking Garage is directly across from this entrance.  Also, a few steps north of the church’s back parking area, the Zenith Parking Garage is available until 1:00 p.m. on Sundays.  There are signs directing you to these parking locations.

In addition to street parking, the city’s State Street Parking Garage and Palm Avenue Parking Garage are also available.
